Claudio Tesauro has been a member of the Board of Directors of Save the Children Italy since 2004 and he is currently the President. Executive partner of the Rome office of Bonelli Erede Pappalardo, one of Italy's leading law firms, he is also President of the Italian Antitrust Association and the Head of the Antitrust Department, which has lawyers based in Brussels, Rome, Milan and London. Mr. Tesauro graduated cum laude in 1987 from the Faculty of Law of the University of Naples, Italy and completed a Masters in Comparative Jurisprudence at the New York University School of Law. He then joined the New York law firm Fox & Horan.
Claudio Tesauro's antitrust experience began in 1989 as a trainee at the Legal Service of the European Commission. In 1992 he entered private practice as one of the founders of the firm Tizzano-Pappalardo and later as the youngest partner of Pappalardo e Associati, specializing in EC competition law.
Claudio Tesauro has acted in several high profile cases and regularly appears before the Italian antitrust authority, the European Commission and national courts. Claudio also handles merger cases and investigations under the Italian and EU merger rules.
