Jason Breemen, who is based out of Singapore, is a Managing Director at Everstone Capital, responsible for Business Development. This encompasses fundraising and investor relations; working with international strategic buyers, as they look to enter India via a trade sale, and also building consortia with other like-minded investors for large co-investment deals.
Jason joined the firm in March of 2008, prior to that was at UBS in New York in the Capital Introductions Team for six years, initially building up the family office practice, and then covering Asia, for both hedge funds and institutional investors.
Before his time at UBS, he received his MBA from the Wharton School in 2002 (he was the first recipient of the Paul Green Award for Knowledge Creation), and prior to that, he spent seven years working in Germany in insurance, reinsurance and risk management (Munich Reinsurance Company, AIG and FM Global), after graduating from Kenyon College, cum laude, in 1991.
As an active alumnus following his graduation from Wharton, Jason has served in a variety of positions, most recently as Vice President of Business Development for the Wharton Club of New York (2005-2008), and was a member of the Executive Committee of the Wharton Alumni Association of India (2008 – 2011) before moving to Singapore for Everstone Capital during the course of 2011.
