Gianluca Pavanello is the CEO of Macron spa, an Italy-based European company operating in the Technical Sportswear sector.

Mr Pavanello joined Macron spa in 2004 as Chief Executive Officer. Under his management, Macron turnover has grown from 10,5 M€ in 2004 to 53 M€ in 2011 with an average growth of 30% per year.

Prior to joining Macron spa, Mr Pavanello was Manager in the Milan office of McKinsey&Company, where he worked since January 1999. In McKinsey, he worked mainly in the Energy and Consumer Goods Industries.

Prior to joining McKinsey, he worked in the Corporate Finance division of an Italian Merchant Bank and before as financial controller for a "white goods" Company in London.

In 1998 Gianluca Pavanello got his Master of Business Administration at "SDA Bocconi" (Milan, Italy) and in 1994 received a degree in Economics at "Università degli Studi di Bologna" (Bologna, Italy).
